VCA MidWest Veterinary Referral & Emergency Center

Welcome to VCA MidWest Veterinary Referral & Emergency Center, Nebraska’s only full-time, state-of-the-art hospital dedicated to specialty & emergency medicine. Our internationally renowned board-certified veterinarians work in partnership with primary care veterinarians by referral throughout Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota and Kansas to deliver the most progressive and appropriate treatments available in Cardiology, Emergency & Critical Care, Diagnostic Imaging, Internal Medicine, and Surgery.

As board-certified specialists, emergency veterinarians, and highly trained licensed veterinary technicians, we are committed to providing exceptional care for pets with complex medical and surgical needs. We work in partnership with primary care veterinarians to select and deliver the most appropriate diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical treatment options. We’re all on the same team - your pet’s team.

But it’s not only about the medicine here. We truly love animals and hold each and every one dear as we lavish them with care and comfort during their stay. It’s hard not to grow attached, but we know they return to loving homes to people who think of them as family members just like we do, which makes it all worthwhile.

Thank you for the privilege of being a part of your pet’s healthcare team.
